Season 2, Episode 1: 'A' Is For Aldarn Anonymous
What better way to kick off a new episode than with Aldarn, right? The episode begins depicting Elyon's Castle with fireworks going off above it, indicating that this picks up a few hours after the end of "The Final Battle." The scene pans to the underground dungeons, where the Great Mage is sealing Phobos, Cedric, and Miranda. Aldarn, Vathek, and a few other nameless rebels are beginning their shift guarding the former prince and his cohorts. Vathek vows that nothing will happen "on our watch" (a mantra he keeps repeating incessantly throughout the scene).

Despite Vathek's reassurances, however, the Great Mage isn't even out of the room for 30 seconds when Nerissa comes in to break out Miranda (poor Phobos stays stuck in his cell, protesting all the way). Vathek bellows, "Not on my watch!" and tries to stop her, but goes down like a ton of bricks. Nerissa KOs the other rebels, but Aldarn actually puts up a fight (♥) and attacks Nerissa with a crossbow. Unfortunately, Nerissa turns his arrows back on him and Aldarn gets pinned to the floor with a dozen arrows. He struggles to break free, but it is no use, and Nerissa escapes with Miranda.

Let's just say, the beginning of this episode put me in a good mood. Aldarn got featured BEFORE any of the "main" characters! Maybe that means that he'll actually have a role in the second season! *hopes*
