Hey ghouls! I'm so sorry there haven't been any updates recently. I posted a mini-comic over on Tumblr that kind of explains it, but I'll go into a bit more detail here.

Since around mid-March, I've been having... I guess you could call them seizures? Although they don't quite fit the textbook definition of seizures, but no one is really sure what they are or what is causing them at this point.

At the time they started, I was several pages ahead on the comic, so I tried to spread out what I'd done and see if I could make it last until I started feeling better, but that... didn't really work.

I really want to keep working on the comic, but it's really hard to predict when I'm going to feel okay and when I'm going to have... you know... problems. Sometimes I feel like I can get a lot done in one sitting, and other times I feel too sick to concentrate. On top of it, I've been having to juggle doctor's appointments, and I had to leave my regular job because of my health. That means I've been doing a lot more freelance work from home in order to try to make ends meet, which also eats up my comic-making time.

I definitely do not want to put FGF on hiatus, though. So my new plan is to try to update-as-I'm-able, rather than sticking to a specific schedule. That might mean some weeks there will be a whole bunch of new pages, and other weeks there will be no pages at all. I can promise I won't be giving up on this comic any time soon, though.

I hope to be able to get back to a regular posting schedule soon, but in the meantime, thank you for supporting Freaky Gone Fabulous, and for any positive thoughts you can spare while I deal with my Mystery Ailment ♥

Whenever I think of Draculaura's dad, I think of George Hamilton. I hope you do, too.

I really would like Cindy Sondheim to be her mom, but I didn't think of that until after I started writing the series. Maybe I'll have to write her in~
